Bio:
I, too, went across campus and graduated from DLU
with a Psychology major. I went to Abilene Christian University for my
Master's in Psychology. While in school there, I met and married Jarvis
Wright. We stayed together for 17 years. In 1988, I married John Palmer,
another Texan. We at present have also been married 17 years, but I think
this one is a keeper!
John owns a pipe company. We office at home, and
although I am trying to be "retired," I still have to keep company books from
time to time (pitiful, isn't it?)! I have lived in Abilene, Hattiesburg, MS,
San Angelo, TX, and Midland. I have worked as an office manager, counselor,
staff psychologist, and teacher.
Although I have no children of my own, I proudly
inherited a stepson and daughter from John. We also have two grandgirls.
John and I love to travel and entertain. We have
recently purchased another house and have been doing some remodeling at the
same time as trying to move in. We have also upsized instead of downsizing!
WHAT ARE WE THINKING!!!
I wish I could be at the reunion, but we have
planned another trip for October. I would love to see you guys. Although I
have lived in Texas almost all my adult life, my heart is still in Tennessee.
My favorite memories of high school are chorus,
plays, and the New Orleans senior trip. That started my love for the
French Quarter, and I have been back more times than I can count (or remember,
but that probably needs to be another story)!
